The AGM was chaired by Shri Sanjay Bajoria, the outgoing President. In the AGM, Shri Subash Agarwal was elected as the President of the Association. Other Office Bearers elected were Shri Aghor Dudhwewala (Sr. Vice President), Shri B.K. Loharuka (Vice President), Shri P.K. Himmatsinghka (General Secretary) and Shri Rajesh Sultania (Treasurer).

A Conference on Critical analysis of Draft Direct Tax Code was held at Rotary Sadan on the 9th of October, 2009. The Seminar was chaired by Shri Subash Agarwal, President DTPA. The Seminar was inaugurated by Shri Gautam Chaudhuri, Hon’ble CCIT-I. Shri Manoj Mishra, Hon’ble CCIT-IX, Shri Narayan Jain, LL.M, Advocate and Ms. Sushmita Basu, FCA, PWC were the speakers of the Conference. The Conference met with an overwhelming response.
