Dear Fellow Members,
First of all let me convey my sincere greetings to all of you for Durga Puja which has just ended and Deepawali which is just knocking the door. Let the virtue triumph over vices and lights vanish the darkness and bring prosperity of knowledge, wealth and health to each one of you. In keeping up with spirit, I have decided that slogan for the current year would be " Empowerment by Knowledge " which is very vital and essential in every part of our life.
I am very grateful to all of you for reposing confidence in me by electing me as President of the Association for the year 2011-12 and I ensure you that I will give my best in every sphere of Association activities to make it a vibrant, forward looking body taking it to greater heights. With increased space at our command, Computer facilities in our hand and pool of talents in our store, there is every room for us to look forward in the future with high hopes and increased strength.
Changing scenario at taxation science will bring new challenges and vast unexplored area will explode before professionals to take charge, to show and prove themselves. Introduction of Direct Tax Code and G.S. T, We have to play a vital role as dedicated professionals for better tax compliance for enriching the nation.
I look forward to your difficulties, complaints, and practical suggestions so that we can take up the same with higher ups in the Income Tax Department to get day to day dialogue and redressal of grievance of the members.
Empowerment by Knowledge but to attain knowledge interaction at various levels is necessary and for this purpose monthly study circle, group discussion, workshop, refresher courses, seminar and symposium will be organized to share the knowledge with experts in their respective fields. Friends, we would also lay emphasis on organizing programmes fostering fellowship, ensuring physical fitness and catering to our motivational and spiritual needs.
The saying goes all work and no play makes one dull. For this purpose we have in mind to organize Bijoya /Deepawali get together with families and Annual Picnic in addition to other get together Meetings and Programmes. Your suggestions will be always welcomed and you can write me, inform me over phone and give message at the library also which will be duly taken care of by myself and by my team members.
Friends, it is said nothing is impossible, but friends, I am not in the competition nor I promise any miracle I believe in the tenets of Srimad Bhagwad Gita Where Lord says " You have to perform to the best of your ability, rest has to be left for the almighty ".
It has been said winners is one who gives himself to his work, body and soul and I am confident that with active co-operation from you all, we will be winner at the end of the race.
